invite you to be a part of it ! Help shape the voice of NY YOGA + LIFE
MAGAZINE, and tell us who inspires you.
We will be posting as many nominations as possible on our social media,
and then selecting a few finalists to showcase in our print premier
issue. It will be first come first posted…so get your nominations in
Every studio that submits nominations may be eligible for discounts and
upgrades on ads. If you have events, teacher training or retreats to
promote for the fall/winter this is a great opportunity to reach the 20k
+ readers that the first issue of our print magazine will reach.

After the submission deadline, a panel of creative experts will select the 5 finalists. A poll will be created via this website, FACEBOOK and social media in which readers are then free to vote. The system only allows 1 vote per email address. VOTING BEGINS 7/15 and ends 8/1 at midnight. The winner will be announced on all NY Yoga + Life Magazine media outlets.
1. We prefer VERTICAL LARGE SCALE HIGH RESOLUTION images. JPEGS only will be accepted (please allow for headroom in your shots).
2.. Subject should be doing something active, healthy in an interesting location around NEW YORK No more guidance will be given than this.
3. Subject must sign photo release, as well as photographer. One will be emailed to you upon receipt of your image.
4. All images must be unused via websites, advertising collateral, print & social media to be considered.
5. Winner of the photo contest will be given a FREE 1/4 page ad in a future publication.
6. Professional photographers are welcome to submit.
7. NY Yoga + Life Magazine and Yoga Magazine Productions reserve the rights to use outtakes for the image submitted and all entries may be reused for stock imagery both in print and online. Photo credit will always be given via name or website.
8. Clothing, Jewelry, Hair-Makeup may also be promoted and details must be available upon inquiry.
